What is a Villa?
A Villa is a luxurious, private residence made available by its owner
as holiday accommodations: a vacation rental. Unlike hotels, destination
clubs and time shares, villas provide a level of intimacy, personalization
and flexibility that no other type of accommodations can match, and an
insider experience that connects you to the people, lifestyle, and culture
of your chosen destination.
How do I rent a villa?
Renting a villa is very simple. Here are the basic steps of the process:
1. Finding the Perfect Villa: you may choose one of the vacation homes
featured in this website, or use them as inspiration, to request a personalized
search according to your special preferences and requirements.
2. Signing a Rental Contract: once you have found the perfect villa for
you, we will ask you to sign a seasonal (short-term) rental contract of
real estate property, which specifies all the terms and conditions of
that particular vacation rental (i.e. parties, property details, dates,
price, payment details, rights and obligations of each party). This can
be sent either by fax or e-mail (scan copy).
3. Payment: once that you and the villa owner have a signed copy of the
contract, we will ask you to proceed with the payments agreed in the contract.
In general, a deposit of 50% of the rental price is required immediately
after signing the contract in order to secure availability and price.
Balance is due typically 60 days prior to the date of arrival, with an
additional security deposit to cover any eventual damages and some house
expenses like telephone, electricity, etc. Do note that terms and conditions
may vary from house to house and that all payments must be made through
bank transfers.
How do I organize staffing, on-site concierge
services, and travel arrangements?
Most of our holiday homes come with a maid that cleans the house and makes
your daily breakfast. However, if you wish to have a fully-staffed villa
including a celebrity chef, professional nannies, 24/7 maintenance personnel
and even a butler, we can provide you with the best available. Need an
on-site concierge to provide access to A-list parties, spas, restaurants,
golf courses, tennis courts, polo ranches and more? Done. Would you like
to have a surf instructor in Jose Ignacio, play with a polo pro in the
Pampas or do some heli-ski in Patagonia? Sure. What about arranging your
domestic flights, private transfers, chauffeured cars and sightseeing?
No worries. Want to meet cool locals too? Curiocity goes way beyond villa
bookings, providing you with the most convenient travel arrangements,
as well as the local scene's most pleasing experiences. From arts to sports
and shopping, from beaches to nightlife, we'll look after you while you
indulge in our featured destination's wealth of pleasures. Our relationships

What kind of price are we looking at to organize
a vacation rental experience with Curiocity?
When it comes to villa vacations and lifestyle management in the beaches
of Punta del Este, Uruguay and some awe-inspiring locations in Argentina,
we provide a level of service and satisfaction that is unmatched anywhere
else.
We have arranged memorable experiences from a couple of thousands per
day to twenty thousand dollars per day and over.
How much time in advance to my preferred travel
date should I contact you?
We can find the perfect villa for you and arrange almost everything you
can imagine, with three months in advance of your preferred departure
date, except, possibly, end of the year holidays. If your idea is to travel
from mid December to mid January, we strongly suggest you to contact us
with at least 6 months in advance.
Will it be possible to organize a private party
or renew our wedding vows? Can you help with arrangements?
Yes, definitely. Networking with the finest service providers of the business,
including decorators, caterers, photographers, musicians, DJ’s, wedding
coordinators and more in each destination that we operate in, we are uniquely
enabled to handle all your event needs from start to finish.
Please note that it is very important that you tell us about your special
interests from the very beginning and give us as much information as possible
on your special requirements, so that we help you find a property that
suits your every need, as well as the right people to assist with your

Do you have houses available for film, television,
video and print shoots?
Yes. Some of the owners are very film friendly and accommodating to the
needs of crew members and their equipment.
Please note that rates and conditions for commercial purposes usually
differ from a regular holiday rental. Rates are usually based on a sliding
scale, which varies depending on the type and length of shoot and security
deposits are usually higher.
Can you provide references from previous clients?
Yes, simply ask one of our specialists for references and we can put you
in touch with a client who has worked with us before.
What for is the personal information you request?
Any information Curiocity requires from you is necessary for considering
your application for credit or to become a Curiocity Client; providing
you with products and services that suite your specific needs; answering
any queries you may have; performing internal administration and operations;
and any directly related purposes.
Curiocity will not disclose any personal information to any other party
without your consent except to the suppliers, a related entity or adviser
of Curiocity or where Curiocity is otherwise required by law to do so.
You may access the personal information we have on written request to
Curiocity anytime.
Does Curiocity work with travel agents?
Yes, we work closely with several hand-picked travel agents around the
globe, who serve a high-end clientele, and share our commitment to excellence.
If you have a relationship with an agent, please ask them to contact us
for more information; if you prefer to work with us directly contact one
of our specialists.
