Maybe you have heard about Casapueblo, Punta del Este’s iconic all-white house-museum-hotel-restaurant that Uruguayan artist and visionary Carlos Páez Vilaró designed on the highest cliff of Punta Ballena - El Lomo de la Ballena (the whale’s back), capturing the most breathtaking sunsets over the ocean. But it's only the locals and Punta del Este’s habitués who have the pleasure of really knowing the exclusive residential area built on the cliff that faces the Portezuelo Bay - one of the most beautiful and certainly more expensive locations throughout the Uruguayan Riviera, with square foot prices above the famous La Barra and Jose Ignacio.A luxury villa in this special, relaxed and energetic place was a must-have in our portfolio, so we chose Walvis Bay, located just steps away from the sea, which boasts all the amenities and comfort that a discerning international traveler could expect for a distinctive villa vacation.
This gorgeous villa has four spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a large living room with fireplace and a separate dining room for up to 12 people comfortably seated – both rooms provide direct access to a large semi-covered gallery, guest toilet, private office, a kitchen to die for, an ample playroom and movie room, infrared sauna, outdoor Jacuzzi, lap pool, a green garden with giant palm trees, a beautiful palapa with its own fireplace, storage room, private parking and ample facilities for the staff (including two bedrooms, bathroom, lounge, laundry room).
All bedrooms and their bathrooms are located in the upper level and all the living areas are located at the ground level, except for the playroom and movie room that are located in the basement, as well as the service areas.
Air-conditioning and heating is available throughout the house, as well as wi-fi internet service, and all the bedrooms, living and dining rooms have incredible ocean views.
But facilities go beyond the house: a 4WD utility vehicle is included for the use of guests and it is ideal to go to beach and transport your towels, beach chairs, parasols, etc. A modern Regal sport cruiser is also available at extra cost to explore nearby islands, do some fishing and enjoy your beach vacation at its fullest.

- Balance is due 60 days prior to the date of arrival, with an additional security deposit of 20% of the rental price to cover telephone usage and any eventual damages that may occur during your stay.
- The remaining of the security deposit, if any, will be transferred back to you within 5 business days after the check-out.
- All payments are non-refundable and must be made through bank-to-bank transfers.
- Full advanced payment is required for bookings made within 60 days prior to the date of arrival.

- Exclusive use of the premises and existing furniture and fixtures detailed in the inventory (fully equipped).
- In-house Staff: 2 maids (one of them cooks).
- Pool and Garden Maintenance.
- Use of a Kawasaki Mule Utility Vehicle.
